The Phoenix is an 8 mph scooter from Komfi Rider, so it is a Class 3 road vehicle. Komfi Rider made it compact for busy pavements, shops and narrow entrances: it is 63 cm wide and 122 cm long, and it turns in a radius of 149 cm. It has full front and rear suspension. Komfi Rider says a 'safety cornering' system slows the scooter down on its own when you turn.

It rides on 29 cm (11-inch) tyres. Some have air-filled tyres and some have solid, puncture-proof ones. Ground clearance is 10 cm, and Komfi Rider gives a climbing gradient of 10 degrees.

The captain's seat is adjustable. It is 46 cm wide and sits 40 to 45 cm high. It has LED lights front and rear.

The batteries are 50Ah AGM batteries. You charge them with the 5 A charger, through a charging port on the tiller.

It weighs 101 kg with its batteries, so it is not a scooter to lift into a car boot. Komfi Rider does not say how it comes apart for transport.
