Help me choose
New to mobility equipment? Here's a friendly starting point — and our advisors are always happy to talk it through.
Scooter or powerchair?
A mobility scooter is steered with handlebars (a tiller) and is great if you can walk a little and want to get out and about. A powerchair is controlled with a joystick and offers more support, indoors and out.
4mph or 8mph?
- 4mph (Class 2) — for pavements and shops; compact and easy to handle.
- 8mph (Class 3) — road-legal for longer journeys; larger and longer-range.
Think about range and comfort
Consider how far you'll travel between charges, the maximum user weight, and whether you need it to fold or dismantle for the car. Seat comfort and tiller adjustment matter for longer trips.
