About the Shoprider Sovereign
The Shoprider Sovereign (model S888NR) is a Class 2 mid-size scooter, built for pavements and footpaths at up to 4 mph. Its two 12V 34/36Ah batteries give a stated range of up to 20 miles, and it carries riders up to 136kg (21 stone).
The seat is detachable and lockable, swivels to four positions, folds down, and adjusts forwards, backwards and for height. The arms fold down and adjust in angle, and the tiller sets at five angles.
It has an automatic braking system, a direct-drive sealed gearbox, a free-wheel lever for pushing it by hand, headlights, side reflectors and a chrome front bumper. It charges from an off-board 3 amp charger, and it dismantles easily for transport and storage.
