Used TGA Vita Lite
The TGA Vita Lite is the most compact scooter in TGA's Vita range. It is a Class 3 road scooter with suspension all round and pneumatic tyres on alloy wheels. It goes up to 6 mph, with a 4 mph setting for pavements, and carries riders up to 135 kg (21 stone). TGA's manuals give a range of up to 15 miles (its current page says 20 miles).

Before you buy a used Vita Lite
How fast does the Vita Lite go?
Up to 6 mph on the road, with a 4 mph setting for pavements. TGA lists it as a Class 3 road scooter. In reverse it goes up to 2 mph.
How far will it go on a charge?
TGA's manuals give up to 15 miles. TGA's page said 16 miles in 2022 and now says 20 miles, so we show the lowest figure. TGA's manual says hills, cold weather and heavy loads all shorten it.
What is the maximum user weight?
135 kg (21 stone).
Will it go in a car?
Not as a car-boot scooter. TGA's manuals describe no way to fold it or take it apart; only the seat lifts off. It is 120 cm long and weighs 83 kg with its batteries. If it travels in a vehicle, TGA says to secure it so it cannot move and never to sit on it while the vehicle is moving.
How is it charged?
Switch it off, take the key out and plug the charger into the socket on the tiller. A full charge can take up to 12 hours. TGA says to charge it every 4 to 6 weeks when it is not being used.
