Used TGA Vita E
The TGA Vita E is a Class 3 road scooter with full suspension and pneumatic tyres. It goes up to 8 mph on the road, with a 4 mph setting for pavements, and TGA made it narrow to get through tight spaces and crowds. It carries riders up to 22 stone (139 kg) on TGA's manual (TGA's page says 145 kg). On its standard batteries TGA gave a range of up to 20 miles in 2022 (its page now says 25 miles).

Before you buy a used Vita E
How fast does the Vita E go?
Up to 8 mph on the road. A switch sets it to 4 mph for pavements, shops and other places with people on foot. It is a Class 3 road scooter.
How far will it go on a charge?
On the standard 50Ah batteries, TGA's page gave up to 20 miles in 2022. It now says 25 miles and TGA's manual says 28 miles, so we show the lowest figure. TGA gives no figure for its long-range battery. TGA's manual says hills shorten it a lot, and so does overloading it.
What is the maximum user weight?
22 stone (139 kg) in TGA's manual. TGA's current page says 145 kg, so we show the lower figure.
Can it go in a car?
Not as a car-boot scooter. It is 136 cm long and weighs 117 kg with the standard batteries. The seat lifts off, but TGA's manual describes no other way to take it apart.
How is it charged?
Switch it off, take the key out and plug the charger into the socket on the tiller. A full charge can take up to 12 hours. TGA says to charge it every 4 to 6 weeks when it is not being used.
