Used TGA Breeze S3
The TGA Breeze S3 is a large Class 3 road scooter with three wheels, full suspension and large alloy wheels. It goes up to 8 mph and up to 20 miles on its standard batteries, or 30 miles on the long-range ones (TGA's manual; TGA's page says 24 and 34 miles). Buyers choose options when they order one from TGA, so the batteries, canopy, controls and the GT upgrade vary from scooter to scooter.

How fast and how far does the Breeze S3 go?
Up to 8 mph on the road, and about 4 mph on the slow setting for pavements. On a charge it goes up to 20 miles on the standard batteries or up to 30 miles on the long-range batteries (TGA's manual; TGA's page says 24 and 34 miles). TGA says hills shorten the range a lot.
What is the maximum user weight?
31 stone (about 196 kg), from TGA's manual. TGA's page says 31.5 stone (200 kg) in its table and 34 stone at the top; we go by the lowest figure.
Why are Breeze S3s not all the same?
TGA lets buyers choose options when they order one. The batteries (standard or long range, and smaller standard batteries on some older ones), the canopy (none, solid, solid with side panels, or TGA's clear all-weather canopy), the controls (left-hand drive, twist grip or foot pedal) and the GT upgrade all vary. We're happy to go through what a scooter has on the phone.
What does the GT upgrade do?
It fits large golf-style rear wheels for extra grip, and large mudflaps.
How is it carried in a vehicle?
The seat comes off and the tiller lies flat to make it lower. TGA says the scooter and every part taken off must be strapped down, and no one should sit on it while it travels. It is 179 cm long with the rear box and weighs 124 kg to 142 kg, depending on the batteries.
