Before you buy a used GoGo Elite Traveller
How fast does the GoGo Elite Traveller go?
Up to 4 mph (6.4 km/h), so it is a Class 2 pavement scooter.
How far will it go on a charge?
It depends on the batteries and the number of wheels. On four wheels Pride gives up to 6 miles (9.7 km) on the standard 12Ah batteries and up to 9.7 miles (15.6 km) on the optional 18Ah. On three wheels it gives up to 7.2 and 10.4 miles. Pride gives no range for the 17Ah pack on its later papers. Pride says range varies with the rider's weight, the ground, the batteries' charge and condition, and the tyres.
What is the maximum user weight?
136 kg (21 st 5 lb). Pride prints it as 21 st 6 lb (300 lb).
How heavy is it to lift into a car?
It comes apart without tools into five pieces. The heaviest is the front section: 15.4 to 16 kg on the four-wheel version and 13.4 to 13.5 kg on the three-wheel. The battery pack weighs 8.75 kg (12Ah) or 13.4 to 13.5 kg (the larger pack). Without batteries the four-wheel version weighs 36 kg.
Is it the same as the Elite Traveller 2.0?
No. The Elite Traveller 2.0 is a newer Pride model with its own figures. Pride says the 2.0's turning radius is 15% smaller than the Elite Traveller's.
