Before you buy a used Go Go MG2

How heavy is the GoGo Mg2?

14.7 kg without its battery. The battery adds between 1 kg and 3 kg depending on its size. It folds by hand, and once folded it stands up and can be pulled along on its wheels.

How far will it go on a charge?

It depends on the battery. Pride gives up to 6.2 miles (10 km) on the standard 10Ah battery and up to 12.42 miles (20 km) on the 20Ah (its page header says up to 13 miles). Pride gives no range for the small 6Ah battery. Each listing says which battery that scooter has.

What is the maximum user weight?

124 kg. That is the figure on Pride's sell sheet. Pride's web page says 124.7 kg, and its spec sheet and manual say 275 lb. We show the lower figure.

How fast does it go, and can it go on the road?

Up to 4 mph. Pride sells it as a pavement scooter.

Can it manage kerbs and hills?

Pride's manual says not to drive over obstacles or steps higher than 2 inches (50 mm). It handles slopes up to 8 degrees, and the manual says not to drive fast on slopes of more than 5 degrees.

Does it come with armrests?

Armrests were an optional extra, so some have them and some do not. Each listing says what that scooter comes with.
