How fast does the Colt Pursuit go?

Up to 8 mph (12.9 km/h), which makes it a Class 3 road vehicle.

How far will it go on a charge?

Pride's 2011 specification sheet gives up to 21.8 miles (35 km), tested at the maximum user weight. Its 2024 sell sheet and current page give up to 34.8 miles (56 km). Neither says which batteries. Pride says range varies with the rider's weight, the ground, and the batteries' size, charge and condition.

What is the maximum user weight?

159 kg (25 st) on Pride's current papers. Its 2011 specification sheet and owner's manual, and its web pages up to 2022, say 181 kg.

Can it go in a car?

It comes apart without tools into the seat, the battery shroud, the batteries, the basket and the front and rear sections, but the front section alone weighs 43 kg on Pride's 2011 specification sheet and each battery 14.8 kg or 24 kg. Pride recommends that you do not stay seated on the scooter while it travels in a motor vehicle.

Is it the same as the Pursuit 2.0?

No. The Pursuit 2.0 is a later and larger Pride scooter, 1460 mm long and 100 kg without batteries, that runs on lithium batteries. Pride's papers for the Colt Pursuit list 12 V deep-cycle batteries, 50Ah or the optional 70Ah.
