The Motion Healthcare Xcursion is an 8 mph road scooter (Class 3) with all-round suspension, pneumatic tyres, LED lights with indicators and a padded captain's seat that swivels. Motion gives a range of up to 30 miles from its two 80Ah batteries. It carries riders up to 25.2 stone by Motion's 2025 flyer (28.3 stone on its web page, manual and product spotlight).

How fast does the Xcursion go?
Up to 8 mph (12.9 km/h), with a high and a low speed mode. Motion's manual calls it a Class 3 mobility scooter, the kind that can be used on the road.
How far will it go on a charge?
Up to 30 miles is Motion Healthcare's figure, from its two 12V 80Ah sealed lead-acid batteries. Motion says range varies with battery condition, weather and temperature, ground and the rider's weight.
What is the maximum user weight?
Motion's papers disagree. Its 2025 flyer says 25.2 stone (160 kg); its web page, user manual and product spotlight say 28.3 stone. We give the lower figure first to be safe.
How big and heavy is it?
It is 166.5 cm long, 78 cm wide and 129.5 cm high. Motion's manual gives a total weight of 148 kg and a battery weight of 54 kg; its 2025 flyer gives the total weight as 178 kg.
Does it have a canopy?
Some do. Motion offered a canopy, with or without vinyl sides, as an option.
