Before you buy a used Supa Carbon Lite

How far will the Supa Carbon Lite go on a charge?

Up to 9 miles, Monarch's figure. Monarch says it depends on the rider's weight and the ground. Monarch's spare-battery page says about 10 miles; we give the lower figure.

How heavy is it to lift into a car?

It folds by hand. Without the battery it weighs 13 kg (Monarch's 2025 page) or 14 kg (Monarch's current page, for scooters with the adjustable tiller and fully folding armrests). Monarch's 2025 page gives 14.5 kg with the battery. The battery comes out, so you can lift the two separately.

What is the maximum user weight?

19 stone (about 120 kg).

Can I take it on a plane?

Monarch says its removable lithium battery is airline approved. Monarch also says to confirm each airline's policy before flying.

How fast does it go?

Up to 4 mph, so it is a Class 2 pavement scooter.
