The Drive DeVilbiss AutoFold Elite is a folding boot scooter that folds and unfolds itself within 15 seconds, from a remote fob or buttons on the tiller. It has suspension at the front and back, goes up to 4 mph and carries riders up to 125 kg (19 st 9 lb). It weighs 27 kg with its battery and goes up to 9.3 miles on a charge (Drive's figure).

How does the AutoFold Elite fold?
By itself. Press the button on the remote fob or the tiller and it folds or unfolds within 15 seconds. For safety it stops halfway; press the button again to finish. Folded it measures 45 × 57 × 64 cm.
How heavy is it to lift into a car?
It folds as one unit and weighs 27 kg with its battery. Take the 2 kg battery out and it is 25 kg. It has a carry handle to help lift it in and out of a car boot.
How far will it go on a charge?
Up to 9.3 miles (15 km) on its 10Ah lithium-ion battery, Drive's figure for a 100 kg rider at 20°C. Drive says the rider's weight, hills, weather and the battery's charge and condition all change it.
What is the maximum user weight?
125 kg (19 st 9 lb).
How fast does it go, and can it go on the road?
Up to 4 mph (6.4 km/h), which makes it a Class 2 pavement scooter. Drive's manual says to keep to flat, even paths and to avoid roads, grass, gravel and slopes steeper than 6 degrees.
