It depends on the battery. Drive gives up to 6.8 miles (11 km) on the 10.3Ah battery and up to 11.4 miles (18.4 km) on the 17.2Ah, for a 100 kg rider at 20°C. Drive says the rider's weight, hills, weather and the battery's charge and condition all change it.
How heavy is it to lift into a car boot?
It splits without tools into the seat, seat post, front section, rear section and battery. The heaviest piece is the front section at 9.9 kg, the rear section is 8.8 kg and the seat 7.4 kg. The whole scooter weighs 27.6 kg without its battery.
What is the maximum user weight?
120 kg (18 st 12 lb).
Can I take it on a plane?
Drive says the 10.3Ah battery is classed as safe for air transport under IATA special provision A67, and that you should contact your carrier first. Airlines set their own rules, so check with yours before you book.
How fast does it go, and can it go on the road?
Up to 4 mph (6.4 km/h), which makes it a Class 2 pavement scooter. Drive's manual says to keep to flat, even paths and to avoid roads, grass, gravel and slopes steeper than 6 degrees.
